do you ever have those times at 4am where you get so motivated and decide to get all your shit together and then plan out your entire life and future and then the next morning you’re just like lol

  • Square-Enix: Let's make Nomura work on four high profile and highly-anticipated IPs with huge fanbases at once.

I was always confused by the statement “Teach men not to rape" because it implies that men are taught to rape women. Or if men aren’t "taught" to not rape women then we will have the urge to do so.

My parents never taught me not to rape women. It was just common sense. The reality is some men (and women) are just sick. No matter what they are “taught” it is very well possible that they will still rape someone.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.

Bruh using this logic is like a white person saying “my parents never taught me to be racist so I can’t be racist” you don’t just learn social norms from your parents you learn it from school media and other institutions. Of course boys aren’t just being sat down and told “if a girl doesn’t want to have sex from you you take it then” but they’re taught socially things like a woman being drunk is a pass or that if a dude takes a woman out to dinner then he deserves sex.
And your point of saying “some people are just sick” is dismissive as well cause you’re basically saying it’s gonna happen and people should just prepare for it which is a very dangerous thing
1 of out of every 6 American women have been a victim of attempted or completed rape so under your theory there are a whole lot of people who are “just sick”
2/3’s of rape are committed by someone a victim knew
That’s a scary thought to say basically someone you know is gonna be sick enough to rape you one day
Rape is not some undeniable condition
It’s a social condition that can be changed
All the stats I stated can be found on rainn.org
Stay blessed

I’m so exhausted and I have so much I need to do tomorrow but I can’t sleep and it is TERRIBLE
